About the event
Celebrate Samhain through the power of the human voice in an immersive afternoon of singing, storytelling and folk music with Ardú and The Apex Singers.
The 90-minute Celtic-themed workshop offers an opportunity to sing alongside members of both acclaimed vocal ensembles and fellow vocal music enthusiasts. Open to everyone, regardless of singing experience, the session explores ensemble singing, listening, blending and creating a unified vocal sound. No sheet music or preparation is required, all material is taught by ear.
Following the workshop, experience a captivating concert journey through traditional and popular music from Ireland and around the world. Featuring intricate harmonies, beautiful melodies, funky rhythms and powerful solos, Ardú and The Apex Singers bring their distinctive approaches to a cappella music together. The Apex Singers combine classical choral technique with folk and contemporary influences, while Ardú brings an energetic, contemporary take on Irish and international a cappella music.
Join us for a vibrant celebration of Samhain, folk tradition and the extraordinary versatility of the human voice.
