Other performances include the interpretation of the roles of Dorabella (from Mozart’s Don Giovanni) and Clorinda (from Monteverdi’s Il combattimiento di Tancredi e Clorinda) as part of the University of Manchester’s production, ‘A Fight at the Opera’, earlier in 2018, and was cast as a cigarette girl in Opera Shack’s production of Carmen later that year.

She is a member and manager of the auditioned University chamber choir Ad Solem and also sings in the University Chorus which aims to perform at the Bridgewater Hall in 2020.

While she is classically trained, Katie also has a passion for jazz and is the vocalist in a range of groups from a small guitar duo, an 8 piece jazz/world ensemble called Laga Runa, and a twenty piece big band called MUJO.
