Gabriel Seawright is a classically trained Northern Irish tenor who has enjoyed success both as a soloist and as part of many groups and choirs.
Gabriel found his love for singing in school, where he began singing in his College Chapel choir. He went on to sing with the Ulster Youth Choir and Chamber Ensemble at major events like the BBC Proms and recorded with the Gabrieli consort and Wroclaw Philharmonic Choir.
Gabriel now studies under Paul Nilon at the Royal Northern College of Music. During his time there he has performed in numerous operas, in both principal and chorus roles. Alongside his studies he has performed with Northern Irish Opera, the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, and has worked for three consecutive seasons at Longborough Festival Opera.
Gabriel also has a passion for a cappella music, having led a successful Barbershop Quartet, and written music for the Quartet ‘Harmonopoly’. His interest in harmony, and love for making music with others drew him to The Apex Singers.
